Barbara earned her Real Estate License in 2002 and purchased The Claridge Realty Group, LLC in June 2007. Barbara has resided at Claridge House II for the past 26 years and has served twelve years as an elected member of the Claridge House II Condominium Association, having held the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
She also served as a member of the "Claridges, LLC", which owns and maintains Claridge Drive and the surrounding acreage jointly owned by Claridge House I and Claridge House II.
Prior to purchasing The Claridge Realty Group, LLC Barbara held the position of Administrative Office Manager, New Jersey Economic Development Authority, an independent state agency whose mission is to broaden New Jersey's economic base by stimulating business development, job creation and community revitalization through low-interest financing assistance, including tax exempt and taxable bond financing, loan guarantees, venture capital and business and tax incentives.
Barbara also served as Executive Administrator and Special Deputy Surrogate, Essex County Surrogate's Court.

G. Earle Underwood, known to his business colleagues and friends as Earle, has over forty-three years experience in sales and management of residential and commercial real estate, as well as property management, insurance and finance.
Following his graduation from Spring Hill College in 1966, Earle joined his father at Underwood Mortgage and Title Company (est.1937) in Irvington NJ. In 1967, he obtained his salesperson license. During those years Earle was involved in the financing and retail sales of tracts of residential housing, in addition to management of family-owned shopping centers and warehouses.
In 1973, he received his broker's license and earned the professional designation CPM (certified property manager) conferred by The Institute of Real Estate Managers, which is part of The National Association of Realtors, given to property managers who have met the Association's stringent requirements for certification, including: education, testing and ethical standards.
In 1973, the mortgage and title divisions of Underwood Mortgage and Title Co. were sold to The New Jersey National Bank of Trenton and Earle again joined his father at Franke Associates, insurance and real estate agency. In1974, Earle received his insurance producers' license for: Life, Accident & Health, Property and Casualty Insurance and became President and broker of record of Franke Associates.
In 1978, Franke Associates relocated to South Orange. In 1986, Earle received his real estate instructors' license and lectured at The Professional School of Business, Millburn, from 1986 until 1989. In 1989 he sold the insurance division of Franke Associates.
In 2007, Earle returned to the classroom, this time as a student and obtained his insurance producers' license for title insurance. Earle continued as owner and broker of record of Underwood Realty's successor to Franke Associates until he closed his company and joined The Claridge Realty Group LLC.
